Building a pharmaceutical or supplement plant in Uzbekistan

We help you build a manufacturing facility in Uzbekistan — from feasibility screening to GMP concept, equipment, dossier and inspection readiness. Delivered online. We start not with a slide deck but with a calculation: whether to build, at what budget, for which market.

Why now

Uzbekistan is aligning drug registration and certification with international norms while the state actively incentivises local production. The entry window is open — but plant requirements are tightening.

01.01.2027

a national GMP certificate becomes mandatory for the certificate of conformity (domestic and imported drugs)

$10B

target pharma output by 2035 (from ~$620M) — stated government goal

$57B

CIS pharma market, for which Uzbekistan is the gateway

5 years

new registration term from 2026 as rules move to international standards

What the state offers investors

Per government and industry sources, local pharma manufacturing enjoys an incentive package. Exact terms are confirmed for your specific project and site.

What we do for a project in Uzbekistan

One transparent route instead of scattered services. Each stage ends with a decision and a document you can use to win investors, select a site and pass inspection.

  1. 01

    Feasibility

We model market, jurisdiction, unit cost, demand and a budget range — with the same engine as the on-site calculator. Decision: whether to open the CAPEX gate.

  2. 02

    GMP factory concept

Process scheme, capacity, personnel and material flows, cleanliness classes, utilities, risk register.

  3. 03

    Engineering & URS

User requirements, tender packages, vendor comparison matrices, FAT/SAT criteria — to buy the right equipment.

  4. 04

    Dossier

DMF/CTD inputs aligned to the local regulator's requirements and the manufacturer's role.

  5. 05

    CQV & validation

Commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ, process validation, training, technology transfer and GMP-inspection readiness.

Climate and the stability program — a costly detail to miss

Uzbekistan has hot, dry summers and a continental climate. This drives storage conditions, HVAC design and the stability protocol. The region is baseline-classified as ICH climate zone II (25 °C / 60% RH), yet several hot-country references place Uzbekistan in zone IVb (30 °C / 75% RH). The zone determines utility CAPEX and the testing program — we determine the applicable zone for your product and registration market rather than guessing.

Estimate budget and manufacturing class in a minute

The live feasibility console on the home page returns an indicative budget and manufacturing class from your inputs. Or message us directly — we'll come back with an assessment and a next-steps map.

Regulatory timelines and incentives per gazeta.uz, spot.uz, uzpharm-control.uz and industry reviews (verified 06/2026). Exact terms and the applicable climate zone are confirmed in a diagnostic session for your project.
